About the role
The Boys & Girls Club of Niagara (BGC Niagara) is recruiting Childcare Program Workers to support day‑to‑day operations at its childcare centre. Workers implement programs following current curriculum requirements (How Does Learning Happen?), prepare daily plans, supervise children, follow safe arrival and departure practices and apply healthy child development principles (High Five). Qualifications include a diploma or degree in child and youth work or a related field, registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators if applicable, a vulnerable sector police clearance, immunization records, Standard First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers certification, High Five, and previous child care experience. Full‑time and part‑time roles (35–44 or 0–34 hours per week) are available; pay ranges from about $20.08–$23.08 per hour for program workers and $22.86–$25.86 per hour for registered ECEs with an additional $2 per hour wage enhancement.
