Early Childhood Visual Impairment Consultant

Blind Beginnings Society seeks a part‑time consultant to support children who are blind or partially sighted across interior and northern BC. The consultant conducts functional vision assessments, develops individualized plans, supports transitions to preschool or kindergarten and collaborates with families and service providers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or diploma in ECE or related field with a special education certificate or equivalent, at least one year of early intervention experience, valid BC driver’s licence and ability to travel. Work is remote with scheduled hours between Monday and Friday.
