Montessori Directress / Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

The Village Montessori Nursery in Theydon Bois, Essex is seeking a Montessori Directress or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to work with children aged approximately 2:4 to 5 years. Candidates should hold a relevant Early Years qualification (ideally a Montessori diploma), be a good team worker, have a good command of spoken and written English, be sensitive to children’s needs and liaise tactfully with parents and outside agencies, be in good health, and be flexible to provide cover when required. Hours are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the possibility of additional days, and duties include planning and record keeping, daily observations and note‑taking, working with parents, attending training and meetings, preparing indoor and outdoor environments and tidying equipment. The contract role offers salary of about £12.80 per hour, negotiable, with paid overtime, pension scheme and training.
